About this provider

This is the day rate list: the small things that build up in a house until none of them are worth ringing a contractor about and all of them together make the place feel neglected.
I work from a written list. Send me photographs of everything you want doing and I will tell you honestly what is an hour and what is a day, before I come out. Most half days cover four or five jobs of this size.
I carry my own tools and a stock of the usual fixings, so you are not paying me to drive to the hardware store. Anything I have to buy in comes to you at what I paid for it, with the receipt.

Fixed six things in an afternoon
I had a list that had been on the fridge since last summer. Azhar went through the whole lot in one afternoon and charged me for the half day he quoted. The bathroom door had been catching for two years and he had it off, planed and back on in twenty minutes.

Good work, ran a day late
The joinery is excellent and the price was exactly what he quoted at the drawing stage. He was a day later starting than we agreed because a job before us overran, though he did ring to tell us rather than just not turning up.

Solid, would use again
Drywall patching and a new hall light. Tidy work and a fair price. Only note is that I had to chase for the invoice, which took a week to come through.
