AAB Connections is operated by Klee Enterprises, LLC DBA AAB Connections ("AAB Connections," "we," "us"). We run a local marketplace where customers across Georgia, from Augusta to Brunswick, and the South Carolina Lowcountry find independent service providers, and where providers list what they do. This policy explains what information we collect on aabconnections.com and related services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Customer accounts: your name, email address, phone number, town or zip code, and a password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and stored in hashed form, never as plain text.
• Provider accounts and listings: your business or trading name, the name of the person responsible for the account, email, phone, the town you work from, the areas you cover, the categories and services you offer, your prices and terms, descriptions, hours, and the photos and logos you upload.
• Licensing and insurance documents: if you choose to upload them, the document itself and details such as the issuer, number and expiration date. We use these to review what your listing says and to remind you before something expires.
• Quote requests and messages: what you need done, where and when, your contact details, and any messages sent between customers, providers and AAB Connections through the site.
• When you contact us: what you tell us by email, phone, voicemail or text, and your contact details.
• Reviews: once reviews open, the review you write, your star rating and the name you choose to show with it.

Information collected automatically

• Essential storage: a small record of your cookie choice, and once accounts are live, the cookies that keep you signed in. The site needs these to work, so they are always on.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
• Analytics, only with your consent: seeCookies and analytics below.

Information from other people

A customer may name you in a quote request, or a provider may share details a customer gave them to answer that customer's request. We handle that information under this policy.

2. How we use it

• To create and run customer and provider accounts.
• To publish provider listings and make them searchable by service and location.
• To pass quote requests and messages between customers and providers, and to follow up on them.
• To review listings and uploaded documents, and to remind providers to keep their information current.
• To answer questions and send account and service messages, such as confirmations and replies to your requests.
• To keep the site safe: preventing fraud, spam and misuse, and enforcing our Terms & Conditions.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, using analytics only if you have agreed.
• To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. What is shown publicly

Provider listings are public. That includes the business name, services, prices and terms, the town the provider works from and the areas covered, descriptions, photos, and any badges. We show the town, not a street address, unless a provider chooses to publish one. Reviews, once they open, are public along with the name the reviewer chooses to show.

Customer information is not public. When you request a quote, the provider you asked about receives the details they need to respond, including your contact information.

4. Who we share it with

• Between customers and providers, as needed to handle a quote request or a job.
• Service providers that run parts of the site for us, under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing their service:
  • Supabase, for accounts, the database and file storage (including photos and uploaded documents).
  • Vercel, which hosts and delivers the website.
  • Resend, which sends account and notification emails.
  • GoHighLevel, the customer relationship tool we use to manage inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Google Analytics, for site analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • The Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity, only if we turn them on and only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Google Fonts, which serves the site's typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address.
  • OpenStreetMap, whose servers deliver the map images on listing and search pages. Your browser requests those images directly.
• For legal reasons, when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or AAB Connections.
• In a business transfer, such as a sale or reorganization of AAB Connections, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
• With your permission, in any other case.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential storage is always on, because the site needs it to work. Analytics tools stay off until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose No thanks, they never load. When enabled, these tools help us see which pages are useful and where people get stuck:

• Google Analytics measures visits, pages viewed and actions such as tapping a call or email button.
• Microsoft Clarity, if enabled, records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can find confusing parts of the site.
• The Meta Pixel, if enabled, measures visits that come from our Facebook or Instagram posts and ads.

You can change your mind at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which may sign you out. The site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals; analytics stays off unless you accept.

6. Text messages

If you give us a mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your account, your quote requests and replies to them. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts or HELP for help, at any time. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of using AAB Connections.

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described in section 4 excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent.

7. How long we keep it

• Account and listing information: while your account is open. When you close it, we delete or anonymize it within about 90 days, except what we must keep for the reasons below.
• Quote requests and messages: for as long as either account involved is open, and then as needed to resolve disputes or questions about them.
• Licensing and insurance documents: while the listing they support is active, and removed when you delete them or close your account.
• Analytics data: for the retention period set in each tool, which we keep to the shortest practical setting.

We may keep information longer where the law requires it, to resolve disputes, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to enforce our Terms.

8. Security

The site is served over encrypted connections, access to account data is restricted to the people who need it, and passwords are stored hashed by our sign-in provider. No website or storage system is completely secure, so please use a strong password you don't use anywhere else, and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

9. Your choices and requests

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong. Providers can also edit their listings from their account once accounts are live.
• Ask us to delete your information or close your account.
• Stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link, and texts by replying STOP.
• Withdraw analytics consent at any time.

10. Children

AAB Connections is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Accounts are for adults 18 and over. Categories such as Babysitting and Adult Care are services that adults arrange for their families; children and the people being cared for do not have accounts. If you include details about a child or a dependent in a quote request, such as ages or care needs, share only what the provider needs to know. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will also tell you by email or with a notice on the site before it takes effect.
