1. These terms

AAB Connections is operated by Klee Enterprises, LLC DBA AAB Connections ("AAB Connections," "we," "us"). These terms apply to everyone who uses aabconnections.com and related services, whether you are looking for help ("customer") or offering services ("provider"). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to ourPrivacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What AAB Connections is, and is not

AAB Connections is a marketplace. We give local providers a place to list their services and give customers a way to find them and request quotes. We are not a party to any agreement between a customer and a provider.

• Providers are independent businesses and individuals. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not supervise, direct or control their work.
• We do not perform the services listed, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, timing or outcome of any job.
• Price, scope, schedule, payment and everything else about a job are agreed directly between the customer and the provider.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract to create an account, request work or list services. Providers must be legally allowed to perform the services they list where they offer them. Accounts are personal: one per person or business unless we agree otherwise.

4. Accounts

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account, and you should tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• You can close your account at any time by contacting us, or from your account settings once they are available.
• We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if it breaks these terms, contains inaccurate or misleading information, puts people at risk, is not kept current, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable to, we will tell you why.

5. If you are hiring

• Describe the job honestly, including anything that affects the price or safety of the work.
• Agree the price, scope, schedule and payment with the provider before work starts. Getting it in writing is a good idea.
• Check that the provider holds any license, insurance or permit the job needs. The choice of who to hire is yours.

6. If you are a provider

• Keep your listing accurate: the services you offer, your prices and terms, the areas you cover and how to reach you.
• You set your own prices. AAB Connections does not dictate what you charge.
• Review and update your listing at least twice a year, and promptly whenever something changes, such as your prices, your service area or a service you no longer offer.
• Follow the laws that apply to your work, including licensing, permits, insurance, tax and consumer protection rules.
• Only claim licenses, insurance, bonding, certifications or background checks you actually hold, and keep them current. If you upload a document, include its expiration date and replace it before it lapses.
• Don't list work you are not legally allowed or qualified to do.
• Answer quote requests honestly, and use a customer's details only to respond to their request and do the job they ask for.
• You are responsible for anyone who works with or for you on a job.

7. Credentials and badges

AAB Connections does not independently verify licensing, insurance, bonding, background checks or other credentials at this time. Credential details on a listing come from the provider. If we add a badge that says a credential has been verified by AAB Connections, it will mean we reviewed a document at the date shown, not that the credential is still in force or that the provider's work is guaranteed. Always confirm credentials directly with the provider before you hire them.

8. Quote requests and messages

When you request a quote, we pass your request to the provider and may follow up with you about it. A provider is not obliged to respond or to accept a job, and a quote is between you and the provider. We may review messages sent through the site to prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to help when something goes wrong. Please don't use requests or messages for advertising, spam or anything unrelated to a job.

9. Prices, payments and fees

• Prices on listings are set by providers and may change. A starting price is a guide; the final price is whatever you and the provider agree.
• AAB Connections does not process payments between customers and providers, and does not offer financing, at this time. Customers pay providers directly, by the methods the provider accepts.
• We are not responsible for payments, deposits, refunds or money disputes between customers and providers.
• Creating an account, searching and listing services are free. If we introduce fees or payment features later, we will tell you before they apply to you and update these terms first.

10. Reviews

Once reviews open on AAB Connections:

• Reviews must be honest and based on your own first-hand experience of the provider.
• No fake reviews, no reviews of your own business, a relative's or a competitor's, and no reviews written by or for someone else.
• Providers may not offer anything in exchange for a review, or for changing or removing one. That includes discounts, refunds, gifts and free work.
• Providers may not ask only their happiest customers for reviews, or discourage unhappy ones from leaving one.
• Anyone with a connection to the provider, such as family, a friend or an employee, must say so in the review.
• We will not edit a review to change its meaning, and we will not remove a review because it is negative. We may remove reviews that break these rules, are off-topic, abusive, share someone's personal information, or are unlawful.
• Providers may post one public reply to each review.

11. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: listing text, photos, logos, reviews and messages. You give AAB Connections a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, format (for example, resizing photos) and distribute that content to run the site and to promote your listing and AAB Connections, for as long as it is on the site and for a reasonable time afterward while it clears from backups and caches. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

12. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• List, request or arrange anything illegal, or misrepresent who you are or what you offer.
• Harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, including on any basis prohibited by law.
• Send spam or collect other users' information for purposes they did not agree to.
• Copy or scrape the site with automated tools, other than search engines indexing public pages.
• Interfere with the site's security or operation, or try to reach accounts or data that aren't yours.

13. Our content

The AAB Connections name, logo, site design and the content we create belong toKlee Enterprises, LLC or its licensors. You may not use them without our permission, apart from linking to the site or to a listing.

14. Other sites and services

The site uses and links to services we don't control, such as map tiles from OpenStreetMap and providers' own websites. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content.

15. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available or error-free, or that listings are complete, accurate or current. We make no promises about any provider, their qualifications, licensing, insurance or work.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AAB Connections, Klee Enterprises, LLC, and their owners, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. We are not liable for services a provider performs or fails to perform, or for anything that happens between customers and providers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid AAB Connections in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow certain of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify AAB Connections, Klee Enterprises, LLC, and their owners, employees and agents against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, content you post, services you provide or receive through it, or your breach of these terms or the law.

18. Disputes

Between customers and providers. Disputes about a job are between the customer and the provider. We may try to help, but we don't have to. To the extent the law allows, you release AAB Connections from claims arising out of disputes with other users.

With us. If you have a problem with AAB Connections, contact us first and give us 30 days to try to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Chatham County, Georgia, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court instead, if it qualifies.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as AAB Connections grows. We will post the new version here with a new date, and for significant changes we will also tell account holders by email or with a notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.

20. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and AAB Connections about the site. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away doesn't mean we have waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
